We use a variety of different brands and configurations dependent on the needs of the customer. However we no longer install analogue CCTV systems as the price difference compared to high definition is minimal when using quality products.

Generally, we use 1.3 mega pixel cameras for small offices and homes and 2 mega pixel cameras and beyond for commercial use.

Detail with analogue is often limited to a male in a brown shirt whereas even the minimum 1.3MP will often allow reading of logos on clothing and facial features such as moles, scars, number plates and more.

With most new installs we will cable using Cat5 or Cat6 in order to future proof as much as possible.  This allows image, sound and power for the camera to come through the one cable.

If you happen to have an older analogue CCTV system it is now possible to reuse the existing cabling (if quality RG 6 or combo cable have been used for the initial install) to retrofit a new 1.3, 2 or 5 mega pixel camera system obtaining a great result at a cost far less than a fresh install.
